2019年3月21日，美視中國部·小學(xué)的孩子們從成都飛往上海，參加在上海舉辦的FPSPI全國賽。此次精選出四、五、六年級(jí)孩子組成的三支隊(duì)伍，從2月份的成都比賽中全部脫穎而出，晉級(jí)全國賽，真是了不起！

The children from Chinese primary division of Mei Shi international school went to Shanghai to join national competition of FPSPI on March 21st. Three teams made up of twelve students from grade 4, grade 5, and grade 6 emerged as national qualified competitors from Chengdu competition in February, and they all got promotion into national competition. They are really wonderful!

FPSPI “未來問題解決方案”，是由國際創(chuàng)新教育的先驅(qū)保羅·托蘭斯在1974年創(chuàng)立，旨在激發(fā)學(xué)生的審辨性和創(chuàng)造性的思維能力，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生建立面向未來的視野，培養(yǎng)他們的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力潛質(zhì)。FPSPI的價(jià)值及方法，將成為學(xué)生終身學(xué)習(xí)的伴侶，也對學(xué)生未來的個(gè)人決策和事業(yè)發(fā)展產(chǎn)生巨大影響。

FPSPI“Future Problem Solving Program”was established by the creativity pioneer Dr. E. Paul Torrance in 1974. Its aim is to inspire students’ ability of critical and creative thinking,  encourage students to broaden their horizon of future, and develop their potential of leadership. The value and methods of FPSPI will be students’  lifelong companions, and have influence on their individual decision and career in the future. 

此次比賽得到了學(xué)校的高度重視，紀(jì)校長在賽前為孩子們加油打氣！三位帶隊(duì)的王麗老師、易巾晶老師，劉永凱老師也在積極為孩子們做賽前培訓(xùn)。在抵達(dá)上海當(dāng)天晚上的集訓(xùn)中，孩子們表現(xiàn)出積極性和主動(dòng)性，也讓上海的培訓(xùn)老師點(diǎn)贊。

此次全國賽共100多個(gè)組、近500名學(xué)生，競爭可謂相當(dāng)激烈。在行動(dòng)手冊方案的比賽中，孩子們沉著應(yīng)戰(zhàn)，積極探究，展現(xiàn)出了美視學(xué)子團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作的風(fēng)采。

There were more than 100 teams, about 500 students in this fierce national competition. All the children made inquiries calmly and actively. They showed the spirit of Mei Shi students’ teamwork. 

在行動(dòng)計(jì)劃展示匯報(bào)中，雖然只有一個(gè)晚上的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間，孩子們以幽默特色、正能量的內(nèi)容贏得了評委的一致好評，分別獲得了一項(xiàng)全國二等獎(jiǎng)和兩項(xiàng)三等獎(jiǎng)。同時(shí)，三位指導(dǎo)教師獲得了優(yōu)秀指導(dǎo)教師獎(jiǎng)。

During the performance of action plan, the children achieved judgers’ high praise because of their humorous and positive show, although they only had one night to prepare. One team won the national second prize, the other two teams got national third prize.Meanwhile, three coaches acquire awards as "The Excellent Coach".
